Celeb Gossip: Amanda Bynes back to rehab, Collins confesses

Stephen Collins and his child molestation past
Earlier this month, TMZ released a tape that is now under investigation by the New York Police Department. Actor Stephen Collins confessed to his wife, Faye Grant, that he molested little girls, one of which was an 11-year-old relative of his wife. The confession happened during a therapy session that took place back in 2012 and was secretly recorded by Grant. According to TMZ, Faye was advised by her lawyer that it’s legal in California to record conversations that help as evidence in a criminal offense.
Collins is known for his role as the reverend and father in the series “7th Heaven.” When asked what she thought of the issue, Catherine Hicks, who played Collins TV wife, told Extra TV, “I have really nothing to say, nothing to hide. I don’t know anything. Stephen’s a good guy in my opinion.”
Amanda Bynes goes back to rehab
On Oct. 10 Amanda Bynes involuntarily went back to rehab after her mental health was publicly deteriorating. In New York she yelled at a ticket agent and then publicly accused her father of sexual abuse on Twitter.
Bynes’ mental health has been falling down a slope for weeks after she got a DUI and falsely tweeted that she was engaged to Caleb Pusey who she was never in a relationship with. Her older siblings came to their father’s defense. According to TMZ, siblings Jillian and Tommy O’Keefe issued a statement through their lawyer saying, “We are disturbed beyond words that Amanda would come up with such a fabrication as a way to avoid getting much needed help or treatment.”
