Looking to end one of the toughest skids in D1 history for the Eagles, FGCU moved to 7-8 on the season following a 20-point loss to Rhode Island. Strong second half leads Eagles to win

Playing their second game in less than 24 hours, FGCU struggled mightily against SIU Edwardsville, which came into the game having won only three games, but the Eagles managed to pull away in the second half for a 66-49 win. Eagles let another late lead slide as they fall to #11 Wichita State

Up against the #11 team in the country, Wichita State, FGCU was right in striking distance throughout the game but was unable to pull off the upset, resulting in the Eagles’ seventh dropped game of the season.
