The FGCU men’s tennis team (9-11) have advanced to the semifinals of the A-SUN Conference Tournament. Five members from the FGCU beach volleyball team (13-9, 7-3 A-SUN) earned A-SUN awards and recognition during the season. Freshman Snowy Burnam was named A-SUN Freshman of the Year unanimously. As the FGCU men’s tennis team (8-11, 3-3 A-SUN) prepare for the A-SUN Conference Tournament, three of the players were named on the A-SUN All-Conference Second Team: senior Austin Bates, sophomore Felipe Ramirez and junior Javier Fernandez. Along with A-SUN All-Freshman Team honors, Bates has earned second team honors for the second time in his career at FGCU. The FGCU women’s tennis team (9-7, 5-0 A-SUN) claimed their second straight A-SUN regular season championship as they defeated UNF (15-7, 5-1 A-SUN) by a score of 4-3. Men’s Golf Concludes Season with Eighth Place Finish

Senior Grant Renegar led the FGCU men’s golf team with a top five finish overall and an eighth place finish at Loyola Marymount’s Geiberger Invitational, hosted by Loyola Marymount University. The Eagles were three shots behind San Diego as they finished with a final score of 879 (299-286-294), but finished 13 shots ahead of fellow conference member Stetson (892: 310-294-288).
