In Case of Emergency: University Police train for school shootings

On June 19th, CNN reported “that there have been 74 school shootings in the past 18 months.” That number represents the number of shootings since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, which claimed the lives of 20 children and six adults in December 2012.
