Preview: Women’s golf at John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate

The FGCU women’s golf team will compete in the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate in Stockbridge, Georgia, with the first round starting Sunday, March 26. The final round will wrap up on Tuesday, March 28. This will be the final tournament before the Eagles head to ASUN Women’s Golf Championship. Georgia State is hosting the annual intercollegiate at the Eagle’s Landing Country Club. There will be a total of 15 teams competing in the three-day event. Preview: Men’s golf at FAU Slomin Autism Championship

After competing in the Cape Fear National Intercollegiate in North Carolina, the FGCU men’s golf team will take part in the FAU Slomin Autism Championship at the Foundations Country Club in Lake Worth, Florida. FGCU women’s golf places second at MSU Citrus Classic

The FGCU women’s golf team finished second out of a field of 14 teams at the MSU’s Citrus Classic with a season-best team score of 901. The Eagles were led by Madeline Marck-Sherk, who scored a career-low score of 71. After two strong days of play with scores of 300 and 304, FGCU ended play on day three with a score of 297 to finish off the tournament. Competing in the 2017 Spring Break Shootout on Monday and Tuesday, the FGCU women’s golf team will head to Sorrento to compete in the MSU Citrus Classic from March 19 to 21 at the Redtail Golf Club. Coming off the Legacy Intercollegiate in Longwood, Florida, hosted by Stetson, the men’s golf team will head to Fort Lauderdale to take part in the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate. The FGCU women’s golf team will travel to Lakewood Ranch to compete in the 39th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational hosted by FIU. The match is set to be played in a three-day series.
