American Horror Story teases upcoming season

In traditional American Horror Story fashion, the scare-expert team over at FX put out a series of 15-second promotional clips to tease the upcoming sixth season.
As any true fan of the AHS franchise would expect, the shorts were varying ranges of disturbing, from eerie to grotesque.
They were also particularly vague, leaving little clues to what the season will actually be about.
The shorts include clips of a dark family with glowing eyes creeping through a field, a man’s head getting stapled, a millipede crawling across a woman’s head, a demonic baby and much more to give viewers the heebie jeebies.
The number six making its daunting appearance seems to be the only common theme throughout the videos, with six not only being the number of the season but also a possible satanic reference, a theme the series has not been shy about in past seasons.
American Horror Story season 6 premieres on FX Sept. 14 and includes the cast of favorites from previous seasons, including Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock, Denis O’Hare, Leslie Jordan and Cheyenne Jackson.
Fans have already begun to wildly skepticize about the theme of the series. With the recent announcement from AHS creators that all the seasons are intertwined, many fans are stirring rumors that the ghostly child from season 1 will be making a reappearance as the baby in one of the shorts.
Other possible themes being discussed are a creepy “children of the corn” vibe, a torturer in the middle of nowhere, zombies, a creepy doctor or a cult theme.
No matter what the terrifying outcome is, the season is sure to meet the hype that American Horror Story has steadily created and continue to scare the hell out of the horror-junkie viewers.
