Eaglepalooza 2016 artists announced

The three artists for this year’s Eaglepalooza were announced at Programming Board’s Week of Welcome event, Headphone Disco on Aug. 18. This year’s concert will feature D.R.A.M., Baauer and T-Pain in a different perspective than in the past. No longer will there be headliners, instead all artists will be on the same platform, one after the other.
D.R.A.M. will be the first artist to perform at the festival. Originally born in Germany, but raised in Virginia, D.R.A.M. (an acronym for Does. Real. Ass. Music.) currently holds the 26th spot on Billboard’s Top 100 with his single “BROCCOLI” featuring Lil Yachty.
Known for his 2012 hit “Harlem Shake,” 27-year-old Philadelphia native Baauer is second on the lineup. The electronic and trap producer collaborated with some of rap and hip-hop’s most renowned artists such as M.I.A. and Jay Z. Baauer released his first studio album in March of this year. It’s titled “Aa” and features songs such as “Church” and “Day Ones.”
With 60 hit songs, including the FGCU collaboration of “All I Do Is Win,” which has students on their feet at every sporting event. T-Pain is the third and final artist of Eaglepalooza. After releasing his 2011 album “rEVOLVER,” he took a break from the spotlight.
T-Pain’s fifth album “Stoicville: The Phoenix,” is scheduled to be released later this year.
Eaglepalooza 2016 will be on Nov. 17 at Germain Arena. Find ticket information here.
