UPDATED: My Chemical Romance is back with a new logo and cryptic video

UPDATE: (July 21, 5:02 pm) On Wednesday, My Chemical Romance released a 30-second teaser hinting that something was coming on Sept. 23. Today, MCR decided to end all rumors in a tweet stating, “We are not touring and there is no reunion planned – only a release for the anniversary of ‘The Black Parade.'” In October, it will be the 10th anniversary of “The Black Parade.” Their breakup, announced in 2013, still holds.

Back in 2013, the band My Chemical Romance announced that they were breaking up. As of today, that turned into more of a hiatus.
The band, most commonly known for their hit “Welcome to the Black Parade,” released a 30-second video of a flag revealing a new logo for the band and the date Sept. 23, 2016.

Whether that’s the release date for a new album or a song, it has gained a ton of traction. Within two hours of being released, the video got over 2 million views on Facebook alone.
If it is an album, this will be MCR’s first release since “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys,” which came out in 2010.
Limited information has been released, but it looks like things, in fact, are okay for the future of the band. Watch the teaser below.
