Rhythm House to host cookout to raise money for multiple charities

Rhythm House, a local bar and restaurant, will host Hogs & Dogs at at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 3.
The outdoor concert and barbecue will raise money to benefit several organizations such as the Lee County Sheriff ’s Office Fallen Officers Fund, as well as My Autism Connection, Valerie’s House of Local Charities.
Hogs & Dogs will feature five live bands, a cookout, raffles and a 50/50 drawing for patrons of the event.
Hogs & Dogs starts at 11 a.m. at 16440 South Tamiami Trail in The Forest Plaza. The event is geared for people of all ages and the admission is free and open to the public.
Although it goes by a similar name as Hogs for Dogs’ Homecoming BBQ which is a charity Harley ride across the United States, Hogs & Dogsis a separate and unrelated event.
