Matt Mramer: Straight outta Cleveland

Talent has an enduring effect on the FGCU Campus. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Matt Mramer fi rst hit the FGCU scene in 2011. Mramer, better known as M3X2, has challenged any notion that dreams are something people wait until after graduation to chase. On the contrary, M3X2 has channeled his energy and determination into a cohesive unit that transcends into hiphop bliss. Fueled by his restless behavior, M3X2 is showing no signs of slowing down and requires only 30 seconds of your time to change your mind about his rapping ability. Already proven as an accomplished live act, M3X2 has become a staple in Dunk City lore with his unoffi cial Dunk City anthem, which has generated nearly 30,000 YouTube views.
In terms of quality of music, M3X2 can spit serious lines that reference everything from chilling with his friends, to early life in Ohio. The 21-yearold Communication major from Cleveland is making noise here on campus and it would be hard for anyone with an ear for passion to be disappointed by the tracks put out by M3X2. Whether you’re a fan of a single genre or multiple genres, it is impossible to ignore the talent that has come out of Ohio: Kid Cudi, MGK, Hawthorne Heights and The Black Keys just to name a few. Keep an eye out for this new act from the Buckeye State.
