Name: Late Night Improv: Sci-Fi Night

Place: Whitaker 101

Description: Join FGCU’s improv team to perform their regular short-form improv games, but with a twist. Usual rules are thrown out the window for an 18+ crowd, with pop culture, expletives and much more.

Name: Spring Dance Class

Time: 8:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.

Place: URWC Studio 1

Description: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10 p.m. in studio 1. One new dance styles will be taught each week. No dance experience is required and everyone is welcome to come in and join. Come with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.

Description: Join the Multicultural and Leadership Development in kicking off womxn’s herstory month on the library lawn.

Time: 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Description: Join Pause for Paws in making pet toys for the local shelter animals of the Southwest Florida area. Be sure to bring your own pair of scissors and any t-shirts you would like to donate.

Time: 6:00 p.m.- 7:15 p.m.

Place: Library Lawn

Description: Join FGCU Storytelling for open mic storytelling where you can listen or share. Incorporate the theme Scars that’s told in seven minutes or less.

Description: Join Programming Board for a March Madness-themed event decorating your own basketball hoops, temporary tattoos and shooting some hoops with an inflatable basketball game. There will also be free food and giveaway items.

Description: Born for the spotlight? Looking to show off your dance skills? Wanting to be a part of the band? You’ve seen your favorite celebrities compete on TV, now it’s your time to shine. Join the honors college for their first all-house, all-student competition of the year.

Description: Join the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) in a competitive game of Musical Trivia! Which team will win?

Description: Join FGCU Salseros on a fun night of learning and dancing with the dance that started it all: Cuban salsa. Bring your friends and don’t forget to RSVP.

Description: Join SISTUHS for a fun trivia night and snacks while learning about historical women and their accomplishments.

Description: Eagle Radio hosts its annual music festival which showcases FGCU community performances. Food trucks, airbrush tattoos and caricature artists will be there.

Name: Sheila Arnold Performance: Folk Tales and Songs

Time: 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

Place: Wasmer Art Gallery/Bower Arts Complex

Description: Sheila Arnold shares folktales from the African-American and Southern cultures along with some of the folk songs that make them even more engaging.

Name: Sheila Arnold Performance: Locks Opened – Waterways to Freedom

Time: 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

Place: Wasmer Art Gallery/Bower Arts Complex

Description: Sheila Arnold shares stories about local waterways that were part of the Underground Railroad. Most of the stories are from an 1870s book written by William Still, a Conductor for the Underground Railroad and Secretary of the Philadelphia Abolitionist Society.

Description: It’s that time of year! Soulfest, the annual HIV/Aids and sexual awareness event, aims to educate and provide free resources and STI testing to the FGCU community. Join the Soulflowers and other campus partners in debunking myths, sharing statistics and informing individuals on resources regarding sexual health.
