The Eagles took a 1-0 lead after a 43rd minute goal by Yazmin Velez.
Lipscomb made a handful of substitutions, reentering some of its stronger offensive producers in the 76th minute and immediately created a threat to the Eagles. Lipscomb put a low shot toward the far post where it was just out of reach of a diving Brown. The goal evened the match at 1-1 with 10 minutes to play.
During overtime, Tindell cut left and sent a low shot to the far post, beating the Lipscomb keeper in the 97th minute, assisted by Paulina Speckmaier. The Eagles were led to a 2-1 victory.
Overall, the Eagles outshot Lipscomb 16-4 with nine shots on goal.
Tindell’s 12th strike of the season served as the game winner with sudden victory rules in place. The goal was her fifth game- winning goal of the season and

the 20th in her three-year career. The junior improves her FGCU program records to 47 goals and 113 points and now tops the all- time leaderboard by 19 goals and 30 points.
Senior Brown made two saves that night as the team remained undefeated against Lipscomb with a 7-0-2 all-time record against the Bisons.
The Eagles continued the A-Sun slate Sunday, Oct. 18 with a contest against the league’s newest member in New Jersey.
The Highlanders had fallen in 11 consecutive games before hosting the Eagles.
With help from four first-half goals, the FGCU women’s soccer team cruised to a 6-0 victory. With the victory, the Eagles improve to 10-5-2 on the year with an unbeaten record of 5-0-1 in A-Sun play.
The Eagles maintain their top position in the league standings and have earned a bye in the first round of the A-Sun Championship Tournament at the end of the

month. The Eagles used six goals from five different players to shutout the Highlanders and outshot the home team 30-1 with 19 shots on goal.
Dolan entered the game for the second half and made the team’s only required save in the 50th minute.
The Eagles made a substitution to put Greene in the game in the 65th minute and immediately saw the change take form as Green netted the team’s fifth goal of the game just one minute later. Tindell fed the ball to Lowicki on the right side, and she passed into the box to Greene for the sophomore’s first goal of the year.
With the A-Sun victory, the Eagles are now unbeaten in 26 consecutive A-Sun Conference regular season games and are one win shy of their third-straight unblemished conference season. As Sunday marks the team’s 10th win of the season, 2015 now marks the Eagles’ ninth consecutive season in nine years as a programwith double-figure victories.

The Eagles will conclude the A-Sun slate Saturday, Oct. 24 with a matchup against Stetson in DeLand before the A-Sun Tournament begins the following weekend. Stetson stands in third- place with 10 points in conference play after falling to Lipscomb Sunday.
