Whether you enjoy being artistic in your free time or never held a brush before, Painting with a Twist welcomes you with colors and fun art every day of the week.
Teachers such as Jamie Golob, a studio director, and Michael Antos enjoy seeing their guests surprise themselves at each class. They encourage college students to try it out because it’s not something they do every weekend. FGCU students also receive a discount, so that is another reason to take a chance with paint and a brush.
“Sometimes you run out of things to do, or going to the beach gets old,” Antos said. “And it’s always fun to do something different, and this is definitely one of those different experiences.”
Painting with a Twist has one of the largest libraries among other paint and sip type businesses nationwide. There are about 5,000 paintings that people who are interested in organizing a private party can pick from.
The two-hour painting class is popular among all ages. Golob said they have many returning guests. It’s a fun night out with friends and family at a safe place. Guests are welcome to bring snacks, a bottle of their favorite beverage and paint away.
“You come here and you create something,” Golob said. “At the end of the night, you take something away; you take the experience and the painting.
Prices for classes range between $25 to $35.
