Fort Myers Dance Event to bring traditional festival to SWFL

Forget the rave gear and fuzzy neon legwarmers; Fort Myers Dance Event is bringing a traditional take on the term “music festival.”

Covering the entire scope of EDM, multiple DJ’s from across the world will come together for two nights of endless dance music and endless fun in Downtown Fort Myers this weekend.

FMDE is a way for artists to express their love for music, experience touring and performing, promote themselves and share ideas with other artists with similar styles. Regular performers and upcoming artists alike are featured in this year’s lineup:  Odi Diaz, Genesis Rising, Pete Broward, Shizz & Los, DJ Cease and many more. Music will include Techno, Breakbeat, Deep House, EDM, Trance, live performances and everything in between.

With four venues— Bootleggers Alley, Prime de Leon, Club Dash and Indigo Room— FMDE will span across Downtown Fort Myers.

EDM Friday features the EDM stage by EMF (Bootleggers Alley), Top 40 area (Indigo Room), Funky Fridays @ FMDE (Prime de Leon) and Breakbeat arena (Club Dash).

Underground Saturday will host the Progressive House stage by Dan Sinclair (Bootleggers Alley), Alien Emotions @ FMDE (Indigo Room) and Push @ FMDE (Prime de Leon).

Tickets are still on sale at fortmyersdanceevent.com, with single day tickets at $15, two-day general admission at $25 and two-day VIP tickets for $35.
