How to hack your college life: failing, Insta-stalking, and finances

Problem: You have this one class that is kicking your butt (no matter how hard you study), and now that the withdrawal deadline has passed, you’re more than a little worried.
Solution: Visit your professor’s office hours. They might be able to give you some extra instruction. Even if you’re not doing well in class, they’ll see that you’re making an effort, and when grading time rolls around come April 30, they might be a bit more lenient on your grade. Also, try visiting the Center for Academic Achievement. Your class might have Supplemental Instruction, Instructional Support or other sessions that can help you succeed.
Problem: You’ve messed up. While Insta-stalking your latest crush, you liked a photo from 62 weeks ago.
Solution: Unlike that photo. Then, go like their most recent post. Because Instagram refreshes notifications, the old like will disappear. They’ll be none the wiser, and you can continue to stalk in peace.
Problem: You went home last weekend and discovered your mom threw out your Super Nintendo. You had not played it in at least five years, but now you are Super Nostalgic.
Solution: SnesFun.com has got your back, with just about every Super Nintendo game available online.
Problem: The whole concept of a “budget” is beyond you. And honestly, you’re not 100 percent certain you actually know what a “savings account” is.
Solution: Try using a financial app like Mint to create a budget and track your purchases. To spend less, use hard cash. Using your credit card creates disconnect and makes money feel imaginary, allowing you to spend more.
