Logo makes history with new show ‘Finding Prince Charming’

Logo, the channel that brought the world “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” is bringing the world of matchmaking into the LGBT community with a show called “Finding Prince Charming.”
“Finding Prince Charming will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do,” Pamela Post, SVP of original programming for Logo, said in a press release.
The show will follow 13 contestants trying to court interior designer Robert Sepúlveda Jr. This program will be the first time an all gay cast will be on a dating show—past shows have only featured partial representation. Even though it is very similar to “The Bachelor,” it is in no way affiliated with the show. Former N’Sync member Lance Bass is hosting “Finding Prince Charming,” and is excited to be part of the production.
You can expect love, drama and —hopefully— the breaking of stigmas revolving around issues in today’s community.
“Some people think that this is a game,” Chad, one of the suitors, said in the show’s preview. “Some people are playing dirty.”
“We are part of something so much bigger,” Justin, another suitor, said in the trailer. “Every gay man understands what it’s like to be an underdog. We need each other more than ever.”
Each man will compete for Sepúlveda’s attention until he chooses one of the 13 to be his partner. Grab some popcorn, get ready to choose a favorite and catch the show on Logo starting Sept. 6, 2016 at 9 p.m.
