New dress code and returning artists shine at the Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards brought in a few changes and more big name winners at this year’s ceremony.

The stricter dress code, which was sent out in a memo from the heads of the award show, stated: “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible ‘puffy’ bare skin exposure.”

This, however, did not stop celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry from showing a little skin. It also didn’t stop big name stars from bringing hot performances to the stage; Taylor Swift opened the show with a circus/Alice in Wonderland themed version of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, and we saw Justin Timberlake perform his new single “Suit and Tie” after a four year hiatus from the music industry. From up and comers to Grammy legends, this year’s ceremony was definitely one to watch.
