Pop singer Prince found dead at 57

Classic glam pop singer Prince died suddenly today at the age of 57. The “Purple Rain” singer was found dead at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota.
According the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Prince said he had not been feeling well for the past month and canceled at least one show in the city. After a performance in Atlanta, his plane had to make an emergency landing. Prince’s spokesperson Yvette Noel-Schure updated CNN at the time of the landing.
“He is fine and at home,” Noel-Schure said.
Prince has won seven Grammys in his musical career, as well as 30 nominations.
Most notable for his flamboyantly lavish performances, including a Super Bowl halftime show featuring actual purple rain. He was well-known for his fashionable sensibilities as the “Purple One.” He was also known for throwing immaculate parties, hosting one just this week.
