Walker brothers step in to fill role, Lohan talks miscarriage

Gwen Stefani on “The Voice”

No Doubt’s lead singer and three-time Grammy-winner Gwen Stefani will be taking the place of Christina Aguilera in the seventh season of “The Voice.” Hollywood Reporter states that after Christina Aguilera announced she was pregnant with her second child by fiancée Matt Rutler last February, the NBC show has been in talks with Stefani to take her place. She won’t be the only new face to “The Voice” as CNN reported last month that Pharell Williams will be taking the place of Cee Lo Green. The new season for “The Voice” will begin taping in June.

Lindsay’s Miscarriage

On the season finale of her self- titled show, “Lindsay,” Lindsay Lohan announced that she had a miscarriage during the taping of her show. Lohan, who has had a very rough year, said that was why she had taken two weeks off from the show. Even though she did not name the father, TMZ reports that after she was asked to reflect on the experience that she had on the show, she responded by saying “No one knows this,” Lohan said. “I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off.”
After only eight episodes Lindsay’s show was cancelled on a call of poor ratings.

Columbus Short

After his wife Tuere filed for divorce last year, actor Columbus Short is now coming under fire for what is believed to be domestic abuse. Radar Online has reported that the “Scandal” star assaulted his wife in their home on the night of April 7. Columbus allegedly held his wife at knifepoint and threatened to kill her. He has now been issued a restraining order after wife, Tuere, filed for one and he has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from his wife and daughter.

Paul Walker’s brother to finish up “Fast and Furious 7”

Producers of “Fast and Furious 7” have confirmed that Paul Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, will be stepping in to finish up filming the movie. The statement to E! Online reads, “Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for Fast & Furious 7, and it’s among the strongest work of his career.” The press release goes on to say, “We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our Fast family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too.” The movie will be released April 15, 2015.
