More than 970 Eagles to graduate during fall 2016 commencement

More than 970 students will graduate from FGCU on Sunday, Dec. 11 during two commencement ceremonies at Alico Arena.
The first ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. for Eagles graduating from the Lutgert College of Business, the College of Education and the College of Health Professions and Social Work. The second ceremony, beginning at 1 p.m., will be for students graduating from the College of Arts and Sciences and the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering.
Chris Simoneau, the Vice President for University Advancement at FGCU will serve as the commencement speaker during both ceremonies.
FGCU has awarded over 23,000 degrees since fall 1997.
For those not able to attend, the ceremonies will be available to watch via webcast at www.fgcu.edu at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
