The fall season is in full swing and so are the countless Halloween-themed events that cater to both the fright seekers and the candy enthusiasts in every community. And what better way to celebrate this warm, spooky season than with a haunted walk that benefits the community?
The Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres will be holding its second annual Scream on the Green event, a haunted walk. The two-weekend event will be held Oct. 22 to 24 and Oct. 30 to 31 at the Copperhead Golf Course.
The course will be open to the public 7 to 10 p.m. both weekends.
The golf course will be transformed into a haunted walk where guests will be spooked thoroughly. In addition to the walk, the event also doubles as a charity event to benefit Lehigh Community Services.
Admission to Scream on the Green is $3, but guests who bring a canned-food item will save $1 per entry.

Electric Cooperative, Coldwell Banker Preferred Properties and more.
“The inaugural Scream on the Green event collected more than 900 pounds of food for Lehigh Community Services and saw more than 2500 guests,” said Fred Elliot, the president of the Lehigh Acres Rotary Club. “We are hopeful that this family-friendly event will be even more successful this year.”
