NBA legend Kobe Bryant, 41, died Sunday in a fiery helicopter crash along with eight others in Calabasas, California.
Multiple reports say that Bryant was on his way to a travel basketball game with his daughter Gianna Bryant, 13, when the helicopter crashed. Those aboard the helicopter also include six others and the pilot. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, there were no survivors.
During his basketball career, Bryant amassed five NBA titles with the Lakers, as well as two Olympic gold medals representing the United States. Now fourth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 33,643 points, he also won two NBA Finals MVP awards and one NBA regular-season MVP nod in 2008.
