The FGCU softball team advanced to the semifinals of the 2016 Atlantic Sun Softball Championships with a 2-0 victory over Kennesaw State on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles plated a single run in both the third and fifth innings to support Riley Randolph, who got the win in her first postseason start. The Eagles will play USC Upstate at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the FGCU Softball Complex.
