Meet the Eagle Media Staff
Eagle News Staff
Samantha Roesler
Eagle News Editor
Hey there fellow Eagles! I’m Samantha (Sam) Roesler and I’m so excited to be your Eagle News opinion editor for the year! I am a junior who is dual majoring in journalism and legal studies. I’ve had a passion for local journalism since middle school, but I also have great interest in how our country’s legal system operates. I have been working at a Starbucks in Estero for two years, and I play on FGCU’s club tennis team! My free time at home consists mainly of pen-palling people all over the world and cuddling with my cats. My job as opinion editor is to be the voice of our school’s student body on any FGCU related events and even issues affecting the entire country. I’ll also be supplying tips on how to be successful throughout your college career! Have an opinion on something occurring on campus or on a national scale? Speak up! I would love to hear from you.
