With the historic 50th Super Bowl vastly approaching, the NFL released a new commercial featuring fans, young and old, conceived the day their parents’ respective teams won the Super Bowl, coming together with Seal to remake a classic love song.
The video features children who were conceived when the New York Giants won the Super Bowl in 2008, after the Indianapolis Colts’ victory in 2007, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ win in 2003 and one-year-old toddlers who were conceived during the 2014 Seahawks Super Bowl victory.
Joining the children are also adults in their early 20s to early 50s who were concieved when the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in 1993 and 1994, the San Francisco 49ers won in 1989, the Pittsburgh Steelers won in 1976 and the Green Bay Packers won in 1967.
Seal comes together with these victory children to recreate his classic love song, “Kiss from a Rose,” changing the lyrics from serenading words to a love story about the Super Bowl victories bringing their parents closer than ever, resulting in their creation.
Super Bowl 50 will take place in San Francisco, California at Levi Stadium where the Carolina Panthers will face the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Feb. 7.
