A candlelight vigil, “A Night of Solidarity,” will be held on Thursday, July 28 in honor of the victims of the Club Blu shooting that occurred on Monday, July 25.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., the Quality Life Center, located at 3210 Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Fort Myers, will become a place of harmony for members of the community who wish to pay their respects and pray for the victims and their families.
Early Monday morning, two teenagers were killed and over a dozen people, ranging in age from 12 to 27, were injured at Club Blu Bar and Grill in Fort Myers. Stef’an Strawder, a rising senior at Lehigh Senior High School, and 14-year-old Sean Archilles were killed.
The Quality Life Center, an organization that provides programs for local youth, has been impacting Southwest Florida for over 25 years.
