Snow Possible as Historic Winter Storm Approaches Florida
An area of low pressure bringing arctic air will arrive in Florida this week, bringing freezing temperatures and potentially snow. The system will arrive Monday night and linger through Wednesday.
The Suwannee River Valley and areas of North Florida have the highest snow potential according to Fox 35 Orlando. The system could also bring ice to areas just south of the region.
These regions won’t be snowed in, though. Most areas will only see a dusting of snow, with some seeing up to an inch.
None of this is for certain, however, as Florida rarely sees snow.

Inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump Moved Inside Due to Severe Cold
The inauguration of Donald Trump is seeing temperatures of around 19 degrees Fahrenheit. Due to these freezing temperatures, the decision was made to move the inauguration indoors for the safety of participants.
This was the first time a US President has been inaugurated indoors since 1985 when Ronald Reagan had his second swearing-in with temperatures between minus 20 and minus 10 according to Reuters.
There will be a viewing party for supporters in the Capital One Arena which holds 20,000 people where the inauguration will be live-streamed. Trump will visit the arena after being sworn in where he will sign his first executive orders in front of a live audience.
