This school year, FGCU is introducing an app to help improve the student dining experience. The Campus Dish app will allow students to access the menu at South Village dining at their convenience.
Any student can download this app for free on their smart phone or tablet and create an account simply by entering the university name, their email and setting a password.
It will allow students to see the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu for weeks in advance. This is helpful for students, especially if they have limited meal swipes. With this app, students can see if SoVi is serving their favorite meal or something they feel would be worth missing without making a trip over to the dining hall.
The menus at SoVi are planned before the semester begins and are on a rotating schedule every couple of weeks, according to the Office of Business Operations. The Campus Dish app is a tool for the campus community to have easier access to view the SoVi menu.
The Campus Dish app’s purpose is to improve the overall dining experience. No longer will students have to wonder what SoVi has for the day.
