A female individual called UPD to file a complaint regarding a traffic crash that took place on Sept. 19. She said she hit a yellow pole outside of the Aquatics Center, and it dented her van because the poles have no curves. UPD contacted Environmental Health and advised them to follow up with the complaint.
09/20/2015, 5:59 p.m.
A complainant went to UPD and said someone had entered her vehicle while it was parked in a lot in South Village. She said both of the rear mirrors were turned inward, and the wiper blades were in a vertical position. She also said her seat had been moved forward, and her seat cover had been disturbed. Officers checked the vehicle and found no damage, so they concluded the incident was a prank.

A complainant stated there was a suspicious person in front of the circulation desk in the Library. An officer advised that the suspect was a new employee, and it was her first day.

A complainant called in and stated a male individual was practicing martial arts on top of the Veterans Memorial Pavilion.
9/26/2015, 3:27 a.m.
An officer was flagged down in garage 2 by a complainant who was concerned for the welfare of her intoxicated friend. The subject was located in Garage 1. His friend told the officer she would take him to his residence, and the Resident Assistant said he will monitor the resident. The complainant told the officer nobody else had been drinking.

An officer discovered a lost Uber driver at the FGCU Boulevard South traffic signal. The officer escorted the driver to Alico Arena.
9/27/2015, 1:44 a.m.
A complainant called UPD and advised that people in a car were following the complainant. The complainant said the car’s occupants were flashing the vehicle lights and calling out to them. An officer escorted the complainant from garage B to Palmetto Hall, and was unable to locate the offending vehicle.
9/28/2015, 3:08 p.m.
A lifeguard called UPD to report that a female was having a seizure in the Aquatics Center pool. The subject was transported to Gulf Coast Hospital by a medic.
9/29/2015, 10:39 a.m.
A complainant called UPD stating a male was passed out in the men’s bathroom of Howard Hall, and was bleeding from his head. An officer arrived on the scene and advised that the victim was conscious and breathing. The victim was transported to Gulf Coast Hospital.
9/29/2015, 3:50 p.m.
A North Lake Village Resident Assistant called UPD for help conducting a room search. The RA and officer found .3 grams of marijuana, packaging, a scale, U.S. currency, and drug paraphernalia in the room. The items were placed in evidence and the subject was transported to Lee County Jail.
9/30/2015, 9:17 p.m.
An officer observed people playing soccer on the tennis courts. He was unable to identify any of the people, but advised them to stop.
