FGCU UPD was notified of a robbery that took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. in Garage B of South Village on Monday, Nov. 28.
According to the crime alert UPD sent out to faculty, staff and students, the victim met with the suspect on the second floor of the parking garage. When the suspect attacked the victim, he took the victim’s small drawstring backpack. The victim then chased after the suspect, but he entered a vehicle and left the scene.
The suspect is described as a tall, light skinned male with dark short hair. He was wearing a white Y&R hoodie and jeans. The suspect drove off in a white Mazda SUV.
Eagle News has reached out to Chief Steven Moore of UPD and Susan Evans, the official spokesperson of FGCU, for the official incident report and is waiting for a response.
