The nominees for the 88th Academy Awards were announced Thursday. From the 24 categories, the survival drama “The Revenant” led the nominations with 12, including Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Leonardo DiCaprio. Followed by “Mad Max: Fury Road” with 10, and “The Martian” received seven nominations. Even “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” got a handful of nominations, such as Best Visual Effects. The Oscars will be hosted by Chris Rock on Feb. 28. The complete list of nominations is below.
