The sixth annual Night at the Nest is quickly approaching. On Dec. 4, FGCU student athletes will serve dinner to a sold-out crowd during this fundraising auction and dinner. FGCU coaches and staff will also be in attendance.
Night at the Nest is a semi-formal dinner and auction held in order to honor all of the accomplishments of FGCU Athletics’ student athletes and coaches. Several new items have been added to the auction list this year, and those who are not in attendance at the event will still be able to bid on auction items.
Some of the new auction items include a trip for four on a private plane to the Masters, a week-long stay in a 16-person luxurious Jamaican beach house, a 2016 Cadillac SRX Crossover and a four-person private helicopter excursion to Key West.
Last year, this event raised a record $465,491 for FGCU Athletics, and 2.4 full athletic scholarships were donated. All proceeds from the gala go directly to support FGCU’s scholarship needs and operating budgets.
This year, Night at the Nest continues to raise the bar in hopes of far surpassing last year’s total.
