FGCU takes part in international event

FGCU’s fourth annual Make A Difference Day will be held 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Alico Arena.

Sponsored by Wells Fargo, the event brings together more than 350 FGCU students, staff and alumni as well as Wells Fargo employees, who will work with several different local organizations.

Groups present will include the Gulf Coast Humane Society, FGCU Family Resource Center, the Vester Marine and Environmental Science Research Field Center, the Harry Chapin Food Bank and more. After checking in, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and breakfast. Transportation to the service sites will be provided as well as lunch.
