Suspicious person

A complainant called UPD at 11:20 a.m. March 29 from Palmetto Hall in South Village and said she was concerned for her friend since she hadn’t seen her in the past 24 hours. The complainant also said she had all of her friend’s belongings — including her purse, ID, keys, debit cards and clothes. UPD told the complainant that they would try to contact her friend, but if she didn’t hear from her soon, that she should contact Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Forty minutes later, UPD checked the camera by the gate of Edwards Hall and saw an individual between Edwards and Siedler Hall. The officers found the individual, who had no affiliation with the university, and issued a trespass warning.
Lost or stolen wallet
An individual came into UPD at 5:28 p.m. March 29 and said he wasn’t sure if he had lost his wallet or if it had been stolen.
