Early last week an officer for the University Police Department, Mike Harbury, was arrested for stalking and violating a restraining order that was filed against him by a 25-year-old female living in San Carlos Park.
The victim saw and photographed Harbury on his motorcycle outside her apartment complex, just two hours after he was served with the restraining order.
Harbury is 46 years old and has been working at FGCU since 2003. Harbury has been put on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of an FGCU investigation into the matter.
