FGCU marketing to hold open casting call

FGCU+marketing+to+hold+open+casting+call
The FGCU Marketing and Communications Department is having an open casting call for any students interested in being in a university commercial highlighting “The FGCU Effect” campaign.
The FGCU Effect, the university’s marketing campaign that has been in development since 2013, is formatted to show the impact the university has on students and that students have on the world.
“We’re creating a 30-second TV spot to help build awareness for the university among our many audiences — to highlight our progress and momentum, increase pride among alumni and highlight the value of FGCU in SWFL and beyond,” said Deborah Wiltiout, the FGCU Associate Vice President of marketing and communications. “The spot will run primarily on ESPN3 as part of our athletics broadcast deal, in Alico Arena, on TV screens across campus and other opportunities as they arise. We want students to be a part of this.”

The casting call is looking for students who “exemplify the FGCU Effect” for non- speaking visual roles. Students will also have the opportunity to earn service-learning hours.
Auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Module 3 near Lot 7.
