Eagles to host UNF in double-header


Women’s basketball

In its second game of a quick two-game home stand, the FGCU women’s basketball team will host UNF in game one of a doubleheader with men’s basketball.

The Ospreys will look to get a statement win on the road over the reigning Atlantic Sun Champion Eagles.

The last time these two teams crossed paths was on Jan. 30 when UNF was beaten by the Eagles 65-38 at UNF arena.

The Eagles will look to continue their conference dominance with their second win against the Ospreys in front of their home supporters.

Men’s basketball

After facing UNF seven days earlier on the road, FGCU welcomes the Ospreys to Alico Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6.

After losing their first Atlantic Sun conference game of the season, the 7-1 Ospreys look to bounce back with a win on the road.

The last time these two teams faced off was on Jan. 30 when UNF edged out a narrow 82-76 victory over the Eagles.

FGCU will look to get a big win in front of its home crowd with a win against the top team in the conference.
