Wake up, San Francisco. “Full House” is back. Netflix dropped the first official trailer of the “Full House” reboot, “Fuller House” on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The nostalgic clip starts off by showing the famous San Francisco skyline and then focuses on the house, just like the opening sequence of “Full House.” Then, the trailer goes on to show the iconic Tanner household from the kitchen to the living room, all while reminding us of the good ol’ days. But, the best part is when the Comet–look-a-like golden retriever walks in the frame, waiting for the family to come through the front door.
“Fuller House” welcomes back Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibler), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey) and Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky) all reprising their original roles. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner) will not be back for the reboot.
During the trailer, none of the characters can actually be seen, but they’re heard off-screen through voice-overs.
The storyline for “Fuller House” is that Bure will play a widow with three kids and returns home to have some help from her family and her best friend Kimmy, who is also a single mother, raising her kids and getting herself back on her feet.
By the time you’re done watching the trailer, I am sure all the warm and fuzziness we had inside from watching when we were younger will be there. After, I am sure you will have the original theme song, “Everywhere You Look” stuck in your head.
The 13-episode series is set to debut on Feb. 26 through the streaming service Netflix.
