On Saturday, FGCU Athletics cancelled the Wounded Warrior softball game due to weather conditions.
According to an FGCU Athletics press release, “Due to an abundance of rain over the last couple of weeks, the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team and FGCU Athletics will no longer play its originally-scheduled exhibition game on Sunday afternoon at Swanson Stadium.”
The team was originally scheduled to play the FGCU Celebrity Team at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team will continue to be the special guests for the FGCU men’s basketball game tonight at 7 p.m.
