As students won big Thursday at Casino Night, the FGCU Programming Board announced that Chase Rice will be performing at Nest Fest on April 14.
Ansley Parish, the director of concerts for PB, said that after years of begging for a country artist, FGCU would be bringing the Florida native to Germain Arena.
Rice, known for his hits “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and “Ready, Set, Roll,” is expected to begin releasing new music in the new few months.
In anticipation of the event, PB will be hosting a Halfway to Nest Fest event March 15, featuring Nick Cannon and MTV’s “Wild ‘n Out.”
