FGCU’s Cohen Center ballroom has been home to several events on campus, from Dance Marathon to Board of Trustees meetings. On Wednesday, June 22, it will once again host an event, one that will bring together those involved in local businesses.
The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals will be hosting its second annual leadership summit, “In Your Future,” beginning at 12:30 p.m.
“The goal is to get their eyes trained on the future and to talk about how they can engage and become better leaders, managers, community builders and collaborators,” said Christine Ross, the president and CEO of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, in an announcement posted on its website.
The event, which will consist of young professionals mingling and participating in activities that will help strengthen leadership skills, will also include a two-hour networking portion from 5 to 7 p.m. called “Schmoozapalooza.”
“I am thrilled about this exciting program and know that the young professionals who attend will benefit immensely,” Ross said.
