This morning, FGCU announced that they will be receiving 100 Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.
These vaccines will be used on Thursday, Feb. 4 for some employees and students over 65 years of age.
All employees and students eligible to get vaccinated were emailed yesterday by Human Resources. Student Health Services and Human Resources are currently reviewing information submitted by the applicants who are interested in receiving the vaccines.
FGCU has gotten confirmation of receiving the 100 second-round doses of the vaccine.
“Unfortunately, we are receiving only 100 vaccines so not everyone eligible and interested likely will receive one this time,” stated an email sent by FGCU Vice President Susan Evans. “However, we are hopeful of future vaccines disbursements to FGCU.”
Walk-ins will not be accepted.
