July 26 at 3:50 p.m.
A complainant called police
from West Lake Village,
saying that two people were
approached by venders
and that the venders were
now sending harassing text
messages.
July 28 at 2:52 p.m.
Police responded to a panic
alarm pulled in a bedroom in
North Lake Village Building
G. The alarm was pulled by
accident.
July 29 at 3:12 a.m.
An officer saw three people at
the boat ramp at North Lake
Village. Two of the people ran
as the officer approached,
abandoning beer. The officer
spoke with the third person
who said the two who ran
lived at South Village and gave
the officer the students’ first
names. Police took the third
person to the police station so
he could call for a ride home.
July 31 at 1:49 p.m.
Police were dispatched to the
library annex because of a
pulled fire alarm. No smoke or
fire was found and the alarm
was reset.
Aug. 2 at 8:43 a.m.
An RA responded to a panic
alarm pulled in a bedroom in H
building of North Lake Village.
The alarm was found to have
been pulled accidentally.
Aug. 2 at 1:52 p.m.
Another panic alarm sounded
in a common room in North
Lake Village building H. The RA
found it to have been set off
accidentally.
Aug. 2 at 11 p.m.
During a routine building
check, an officer discovered an
alligator outside the Subway
restaurant at Howard Hall. A
second officer came to assist
with removing the animal.
Aug. 4 at 2:10 a.m.
Police issued warnings for
violating University regulations
to two skateboarders in
parking garage 1.
Aug. 4 at 6:07 p.m.
A fire alarm was activated
in a laundry room in North
Lake Village. An officer found
that the alarm had not been
pulled and there was no fire.
The main fire alarm panel at
the University police dispatch
had been malfunctioning,
so the fire alarm vendor was
contacted for maintenance.
