The Fallen Eagle Redfish Classic is a nonprofit redfish tournament held in memory of a fallen FGCU student and good friend, Jesse M. Woodyard, who passed away last March.
The cause for the classic is to raise $10,000 to start an endowed academic scholarship at Florida Gulf Coast University. Once the $10k, The Jesse M. Woodyard Scholarship will be available to FGCU students for the rest of all of FGCU history. The Classic will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22nd at Nervous Nellie’s.
