Doggone Mystery

A dog has been missing in the FGCU area since this July 4.

Guinness, Laurie Sloat’s dog, is a yellow, adult, male Labrador retriever. He went missing after he got scared during a Fourth of July firework display, said Sloat in a Facebook post.
Guinness has been seen around campus and near some area stores since then, said Patricia Hamel in an email.
If anyone finds Guinness, Sloat requests that he is taken to the vet because he is need of medicine. Guinness is microchipped, and it can be scanned at any vet.
“He is a tough dog, but also a gentle giant,” Sloat said in a Facebook post.
Sloat is offering a $1,000 reward for any credible information on Guinness’ location.
For more information, or in case anyone catches Guinness, please contact Sloat, (239) 839-4140 or her husband, Steve, (239) 823-5821.
