As festival season comes to a close, one of its most well-known stops is not far from home with EDC Orlando, which just announced its Nov. 6 and 7 lineup — featuring big name EDM artist Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, DJ Snake and more.
EDC, or Electric Daisy Carnival, is a neon, musical escape where your wildest dreams come to life. The carnival is set up in a way that showcases the coexisting relationships between nature and technology, from beautiful gardens to bright, techno beats.
Wander through the three main stages — kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS and neonGARDEN — and ride the iconic EDC Ferris wheel, among other classic carnival favorites, to your hearts content.
Artist DJ Snake has become regular news in the EDM world, recently announcing his debut as a headliner for Ultra Chile 2015, alongside Axwell & Ingrosso and Knife Party. Fellow DJ Calvin Harris is currently promoting the recent release of his Deep House single, “How Deep Is Your Love,” featuring Disciples. He also performed in Glasgow before more than 35,000 fans in late August, alongside Ellie Goulding, John Newman and others.
At this year’s EDC, you can expect endless energy and a free environment to celebrate “life, love, art and music, and be the truest version of yourself.”
Tickets are on sale now for EDC Orlando. General admission two-day tickets are $169 (plus fees), while VIP two-Day tickets are $279 (plus fees). VIP holders have access to rapid entrance to the festival, a special viewing stage with a full cash bar, the VIP lounge area, private restroom facilities and a souvenir laminate and lanyard. Both ticket options are available for purchase with payment plans and come in the form of RFID Experience Pass wristbands, which allow for cashless purchasing during the festival.
If EDC is your first Insomniac Inc. -hosted festival, be on the lookout for amenities available for use, such as lockers, battery-charging stations, water refill stations, merchandise booths, food and beverage stands and other conveniences. Be sure to read over the list of “Acceptable and Prohibited Items” to avoid any personal items taken upon entry.
