• Mike Greenwell’s 24th Annual Haunted Hike — – Who doesn’t love a haunted hike? Greenwell’s Bat-A-Ball & Family Fun Park in Cape Coral will be hosting its 24th Annual Haunted Hike Oct. 24, 25, 30 and 31. The hike is intense and intended to be scary. Admission begins at dark with tickets starting at $10 and a fast pass VIP ticket at $15. Parking is $2.
• Operation Zombie Rage — Take your shot at a horde of zombies with a mounted paintball machine gun, eliminating as many as you can. Glowing rounds have been designed by the Center for Disease Control and are filled with an experimental liquid neurotoxin that is designed to infect zombies and eradicate the horde. Tickets are $20 a person, with 50 additional rounds for $5. The full-scale attack on the undead will run from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday nights until Oct. 24 at Extreme Rage Paintball Park, 3820 Veronica S. Shoemaker Blvd. in Fort Myers.
• Halloween Haunted Kayak Tour — Kayak through dark mangroves, haunted by divers once lost at sea whose souls were left to wander the Earth. Night watchmen from Naples Marina and Excursions will guide you through the mangrove forests 8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 15. Tickets are $35 and reservations are required.
• Haunted Fort Myers Tour — Take a 70-minute walk through the historic district of Fort Myers, hearing stories of supernatural events and haunted locals. Tours begin 8 p.m., held from Wednesdays to Saturdays. Tickets are $10, with group rates available. Reservations are required; visit hauntedfortmyers.com to purchase tickets, and reserve your spot.
• ZombiCon — The theme this year is Fallout: 1985 — Imagine the cities of the world are overrun with the living dead. Humanity has desperately turned to nuclear weapons, unleashing unforgivable atomic power upon the living and the dead. Radiation has spread across the world, mutating, converting and changing forever the way of life. ZombiCon will start 4 p.m. and runs until midnight Oct. 17. A $5 donation is needed. ZombiCon is an event put on by Pushing DaiZies, Inc, a non-profit for the arts. “Til’ death do us art.”
• Haunted “Gross” House — Enjoy haunted hay rides, food vendors and a haunted house that features more than 14 rooms of terror, including collapsible ceilings, haunted attics, black light rooms, clown scenes and a graveyard finale. The house is open from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Collier County Fairgrounds and will be held Oct. 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31. Tickets are $15.
• “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” screening — The Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs will have a screening of the 1975 rock-horror film musical at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at artcenterbonita.org.
• Cape Fright Night Block Party with Puddle of Mudd and 10,000 Views — Cape Fright Night, hosted by 93X, Red Headed Witches and Dixie Roadhouse, will include three costume contests, totaling more than $3,000 in cash and other prizes, music all night from Puddle of Mudd and 10,000 Views, sideshows and more. The party goes from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Halloween at Dixie Roadhouse. Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the gate.
