Kale is a super vegetable rich in vitamin K,
vitamin C and vitamin A. If you’re a fan of spinach,
this veggie is the next best thing. Baked kale chips are
uncommonly found at conventional grocery stores.
At specialty markets like Whole Foods, prices tend
to start at 7 dollars for a 3-ounce bag. By making your
own chips, you’ll benefi t from the countless nutrients
found in kale, while cutting the cost in half. The next
time you’re craving a crunch from a not-so-healthy
potato chip, reach for a homemade bag of kale chips.
Ingredients
• 1 bunch of kale
• 4 tsp. Olive Oil
• 1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
• Salt (to taste)
• Black pepper (to taste)
• Cayenne pepper (to taste)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a colander, clean and dry kale.
3. Tear the leaves away from the rib (steam) of the kale into bite sized
pieces.
4. Place kale leaves in bowl. Add olive oil, garlic salt, salt, black pepper
and cayenne.
5. Mix the ingredients together until kale leaves are evenly coated.
6. Place seasoned kale fl at on an aluminum covered baking sheet.
7. Bake for 15 minutes.
8. Bon-appetite!
