Larissa Rodriguez is a second-year journalism major with a concentration in public relations from Land O’ Lakes, Florida. She has considered herself a journalist since she received her first journal at age 7. Taking a journalism class and helping out on yearbook staff in high school helped her decide this is what she wants to pursue. She hopes in the future to promote travel to hidden gems and highlight local businesses. When she’s not working on stories, meeting with her honors mentees or attending events with the Catholic Student Organization, Larissa usually spends her free time listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with friends.
