Name: Black History 365: African American Read-in

Time: 1:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.

Place: Library 436

Description: Come appreciate black culture with the Multicultural and Leadership Development Center through poems, short stories, memoirs, novels and other pieces written by black authors.

Name: D.R.O.P of Love

Time: 7:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.

Place: Cohen Ballroom

Description: Come out with the Dominican Republic Outreach Program (D.R.O.P.) to one of their biggest events of the semester. Wear your best, eat some good food, listen and watch some great performances, and experience some love.

Name: Stories of Hope and Loss: Live after Hurricane Ian

Time:  5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

Place: Cohen 214

Description: Join the open sharing event to unpack the stories of Hurricane Ian and discover the hope after loss for the SWFL area.

Name: Eagle’s Improv: Live at Chocolatte’s 

Time: 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

Place: Chocolatte’s Coffee Co.

Description: Join FGCU Improv as they prep their competition teams for the Florida Improv Festival, hosted by Theater Strike Force of the University of Gainesville. There will be coffee and laughs.

Place: Northlake Village Fire Pit

Description: Come join Impact for a chance to hang out and relax with your peers. It will be a night filled with socializing with each other while sitting by the bonfire.

Name: Night of Worship

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Place: Cohen Ballroom

Description: Night of worship is a spiritual event that honors the resilience and strength of previous generations of the Black community. Through music, prayer and reflection, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the struggles faced and the importance of remembrance.

Name: Melanin Week- Decades Party

Time: 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.

Place: Cohen 201

Description: Join the Black Student Alliance as they celebrate life through the decades. There will be a costume contest and live music, so come dance the night away!
